Ubuntu on the Macbook Pro
Last night I installed Ubuntu 7.10 on my Macbook Pro and am quite impressed that everything works. I followed this tutorial and the instructions were priceless.
A few notes that you should be aware of is that these instructions DO NOT work with the 8.04 Alpha 3 release. They are for the 7.10 “Gutsy” release only. (8.04 will work, but your wireless won’t nor will the updated video driver.)
